Construction of a road bridge over the Yenisei River near the village of Vysokogorsky in the Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The implementation of the project will provide year-round stable transport links between the central regions of the region and the North Yenisei district, one of the largest gold mining centers in Russia, currently providing 25% of all–Russian and 79.5% of regional gold mining.

After the bridge is put into operation, the new road transport direction will allow the distance from the center of the region to the village of Severo-Yeniseisky to remain almost unchanged (in comparison with the current route Krasnoyarsk – Yeniseisk – Epishino – Severo-Yeniseisky). At the same time, seasonal ice and ferry crossings and sections of winter roads will be excluded from the route. This means that the process of delivering goods to an investment-attractive region along this route will cease to be seasonal. The creation of a new route will make it possible to abandon the forced work on the annual creation and operation of winter roads, the sole purpose of which is to provide communication between transshipment bases and the end point of the route.

In addition to the development of industrial enterprises directly located in areas of gravity to the bridge crossing, the construction of the bridge will ensure domestic demand for construction companies, manufacturers of building materials and equipment. The construction of a new bridge can serve as the beginning of the road development of the Angarsk right bank, and will also create prerequisites for the creation of a new road axis connecting the center of the region with its Northeastern regions.
